In my heart there's a great divide There's a truth we can't deny We walked 'til we reached the end Then we tried to start it again With no way back or step ahead I couldn't stay and pretend We felt our foothold shake Ignorance our only mistake I'm stepping in I'm falling in I'm going in Into the interim There's nothing left There's nothing lost The price of staying the only cost No way forward, too blind to see You took the best of me There's no reason No solid ground Everything's shaking But there's nothing Holding me down I'm stepping in I'm falling in I'm going in Into the interim Do you think about me?

Nowhere Home 03:41
In the bright dawn After the storm Suitcase in hand Uncertain plans Come gather round And watch him go down The end like the start When the world was torn apart Step up to the edge Let it spin in your head Where your feet will fall There's no No comfort at all You summoned the dark Now it's divided your heart It's time to prepare But you're going nowhere Nowhere No home Out there Nowhere Home

The Trenches 03:18
Give me air Give me light Give me hope Show me the end of the road Make me high Make me think Make me forget Show me life i havent seen yet Shake me up Shake me out Shake me free Bring me something to believe Break me down Break me out Break me clean Make sense of what i've seen I try to find A speck of light in me Take me out Take me down Take me apart Give me a shot to my heart Cut me up Cut me out Cut me down Dig me out of the ground Where I can find A speck of light in me A spark of life A sky inside of me I've been running through the trenches I've been deafened by the sound I've been living without senses I've been buried underground If I Can find A light in me If I Can find A sky in me

Keep Burning 05:29
Need a spark Need a light One day With insight Can't move Can't go back No map No track But I I don't rely On faith to To get me by But while there's There's still a flame That keeps burning Keep burning I pushed Against the tide Time wasn't On my side Life bends Until it breaks Standing still My one mistake But I I won't deny While there's still A pilot light That keeps burning Keep burning But I I don't rely On faith to To get me by But I won't I won't deny While there's still A pilot light While there's still There's still some time While there's still There's still some light Keep burning Keep burning on Need a spark Need a light Need tomorrow Burning bright Want to see Another Day Want to live Another way Keep burning One step Step on One step One by one

And then it stopped And we got lost Then there was nothing left to give We took a chance Then let it go And im not the man you used to know And it could have been And it could have been One broken line Is split in two One story that I thought we knew A simple life With a golden sun You wanted more I wanted none And it could have been And it could have been And it could have been forever Could been forever And it could have been forever Could been forever And it could have been

Break It 02:46
For too long I Bowed down Now it's time To turn around You're not what I need I'm not who You see It's time to rise It's time to right the right We tried and We failed Justice did not prevail I'm changing Your plans My life's in my hands Break it Now Take it Down It's time to rise It's time to right the right It's time to rise It's time to fight the fight It's time to rise It's time right the right It's time to rise It's time to Break it Right now Tear it All down

Between stimulus and response there is a space In that space is our power to choose our response In our response lies our growth and our freedom Viktor E. Frankl

I’ve be been looking for a safe space Anywhere, for so long Staring in from outside Watch the world Slowly turning Every single person Some with open hands Some grabbing Every single heartbeat In to win And in to win apart What kind of a world is it When you can't see You can't see yourself in it What kind of a world is it When you don't know You don't know yourself in it Standing still I'm frozen Tired of the news Tired of me Losing my outline When it's one for one And never one for all What kind of a world is it When you can't see You can't see yourself in it What kind of a world is it When you don't know You don't know yourself in it What kind of a world is it When you can't trust You can't trust yourself in it What kind of a world is it When you can't wait You can't wait to leave it You can't wait You can't wait to leave it

I'd never Thought I'd see So many faces here All smiling and waving And looking Straight into me I thought of everyone I'd ever seen From inside this song I'm invisible I'm silent I am the watcher The day dreamer Dozens turn to Hundreds Turn to thousands This city turns into a world Child weeping Father absent A woman Sleeps at the wheel A broken arm A smiling girl A first date A marriage fails Dozens turn to Hundreds Turn to thousands This city turns into a world And they know me And we're dancing Slowly under the Flickering lights

So here I stand With empty hands Where we began Did I Even know you at all? There's no love lost If that's what it was The only cost What are you Fighting for? So here I am With head in hands A broken man Should I Start all over again? But I Shed my skin And I Went within And I Found the things That made me Now strip it back What do we have? What do we lack? Did you Even know me at all? It fades or breaks So give it away Don't hesitate Who are Who are you keeping it for? What are you fighting for? But I Lost my role And I Went inside And I Found the things That made me What are we fighting for?

When my darkness Falls again It wraps around me Like an old friend And all these places The space between And by tomorrow They became me Can I? Can I deny? Can I hide? These spaces blur me Where I shed my skin I turned around and saw I was leaving Leaving the night I leave the night With open eyes I leave me behind The space between The blurring lines All that's left of me I leave behind

And some will say And some won't say He was a good man When its said and done And the time has come Some will say Goodbye There was a day When there was a way He was a good son There was a day When he'd say He was someone When we reach the end When we can't pretend I'll hear it all When the bells ring Some will sing Bolan When the light fades Some things shall remain And some will say And some will say It's all It's alright

Into My Own 03:01
I can see There's a World for me And I Breathe it in And I've Shed my skin And I'm coming Into my own Here we are So close And so far And I won't be Who I Used to be And I'm coming Into my own And I'm coming Into my own The time has come To End this song So set me free And just Let me be And I'm coming Into my own And I'm coming Into my own Everything I need Into my own

about

Swelling synths, electro beat grooves, soundtrack strings and warm piano. With its roots proudly grounded in the DNA of its musical ancestry, “interstitial” is a broad collection of what makes synth music great. From pop, to ballad, to industrial edges, and other genre collisions, any fan of electronic music should find something here. There are even a couple of bangers best heard on the dance floor.

These are songs about grief, loss of role, dislocation of place and self, all against a backdrop of highly melodic ear candy.

Each of the 12 songs are introduced with musical interludes or “interstitials” taking the listener from space to space and place to place.

Interstitial is a soundtrack of moments as we move from one station to another.
